RESUMO
El ser humano experimenta en lo más profundo de su ser un anhelo de plenitud. Sin embargo, el dolor,la enfermedad y la muerte acompañan su existencia. El transhumanismo pretende superar los límites delhombre a través de todo un desarrollo científico tecnológico y se aventura a vaticinar el triunfo definitivosobre la muerte. En este trabajo, analizaremos el sentido de la vulnerabilidad, de los límites, de la concien-cia de finitud y de la muerte tanto para el transhumanismo como para una antropología centrada en lapersona. El transhumanismo y esta antropología coinciden en la existencia de ese deseo. La comprensiónde los conceptos estudiados y los medios para salvar la humanidad que se proponen difieren en ambosplanteamientos. Entendemos que en el transhumanismo se produce un reduccionismo de la definición depersona y, por tanto, de la solución que se ofrece para responder al anhelo profundo inscrito en la natu-raleza de cada ser humano.(AU)
The human being experiences in the depths of his being a longing for fulfilment. However, pain, disea-se and death accompany their existence. Transhumanism tries to overcome the limits of man through alla technological scientific development and ventures to predict the definitive triumph over death. In thisstudy, we will analyse the meaning of vulnerability, limits, consciousness of finitude and death for bothtranshumanism and an anthropology focused on the human being. Transhumanism and this anthropologycoincide in the desire to conquer death. The understanding of the concepts studied and the means to savehumanity that are proposed differ in both approaches. We understand that in transhumanism there is areductionism of the definition of person and therefore of the solution that is offered to respond to thedeep longing inscribed each human being.(AU)
